E22C III COMMUTER BIKE
This project was an experiment to prove the old saying "talk is cheap, and a hand brazed steel frame is solid gold". During a weeklong design sprint, three teams set out to express the bike life in Lund/Sweden. A couple of days in, user case studies, aspirational mindsets and design drivers were being brazed together in steel tubing.
E22C was developed for the specific needs of a daily bike commuter. A flexible grid of holes enables users to attach different accessories in order to quickly change not only the carrying capabilities of the bike but also empower simple user-inspired solutions to their changing needs. As an example of how to use the grid, a weathersealed and detachable laptop bag was designed to keep your laptop save and dry.
